I was very disappointed when I tried this bottle out for the first time yesterday. . . brought it to work with me. The actual bottle seems decent, water tastes good with no aftertaste after being in the bottle all day. My only gripe about the bottle is there are way too many threads on the top so each cap takes more than a few turns to get it on or off – kind of a pain if you like to take frequent sips while at your desk at the office.

Now, the caps. WOW – very poor engineering! The caps make this bottle practically unusable, unless you have many paper towels handy.

Twist Loop Cap – I thought this would work fine, but it allows the bottle to leak everywhere when on it’s side – surprising as there is a small plastic gasket on the cap that seems like it should prevent that but it must be poorly made. It also takes way too many turns of the cap to get it on or off (about 10-15 turns).

‘Sippy Cap’ – This thing really sucks (literally!). It is almost impossible to get more than teeny tiny baby sips out of this thing, even when you suck on it real hard. There is also no way to close the actual cap so when you put the plastic dome cap over the part you sip on, it leaks water into the dome and when you pull the dome off again. . . . water everywhere!

So, basically – unless you plan on keeping the bottle upright at all times and don’t plan on putting it in a backpack or bag to haul it around, choose a different bottle. I’m very surprised there aren’t other poor reviews on here about the caps included with the bottle. I’m not real picky, I just wanted a BPA-free stainless steel bottle that didn’t leak. I would not purchase again.

I have the 20oz. (work) and the Liter(home) sized bottles. I’m rarely seen with out one in my hand. Water tastes clean and they have been very rugged thus far.

It really is a nice bottle — my only qualm is that the top has too many threads. It takes several spins to get the thing off and I’m always afraid I’m going to screw up the plastic threads on the cap when putting it back on. Other than that it’s durable, sleek, and handy.

Arrive in good shape and is what we expected. Very good quality and needs an insulation bottle bag to keep drink cool in our hot weather.

Like the thin shape but hate the sport cap which requires sucking to get the water out and stainless steel does not give way so you get little water out and it is noisy, certain can’t use in meetings.
