I noticed in many of the poor neighborhoods, many black men wear shower caps over their hair while out in public. I was just curious what is the reason for that? Is that some kind of hair treatment or something?

I’ve noticed that I see a lot of white guys wearing their baseball caps turned to one side. Why so they do this? Is it some kind of signal to others that do the same thing? I’ve been wondering about this for a long time now but can’t seem to figure it out.
