WHY ARE CAPS/HEAD OBJECTS NOT ALLOWED IN SCHOOL?
Not sure if this is a state law or a law countries or so, but in California, caps, hoods and other objects, head (excluding religious) is prohibited in university! I never understood why they were seized or otherwise prohibited by us. And it’s a conspiracy, because the Caps are permitted only “colored school” caps or ceilings that are sold in schools. So what do you think we are going to stash drugs in our hoods or caps or hats or something. -. –

it’s out of respect that you take it off.
They are just jealous that they couldn’t when they were kids… also they are under paid and ticked because of it. they probably are just angry the they aren’t paid well…
my school principal says its because they are a distraction to you and the other students. but my school lets you wear hats for a fee of $2, how f*cked up is that, they just want money!
Its all a matter of respect in most schools. They don’t think that you will hide drugs there or anything like that. Well my brother does but he gets away with it.
I think it’s a whole gang related thing. But it could be worse… At one of my Jr. High Schools we weren’t aloud to wear camoflauge print anything because it was supposedly gang related.
Aging bastards thinks it’s a gang clothing. Same reason they hate hip hop clothing.
but anyway some teachers and principal loves the power, it gives them a kick so if they win you lose and thats how fucked up it is.

It is actually a law, it is not enforced much but it is indeed a law that you cannot wear a hood.

There is no such California law. Even the Georgia (not California) law cited by RomeyM prohibits only wearing hoods and masks that conceal one’s identity (and was obviously aimed at the KKK). If you have some such prohibition at your school, it is either a policy of the school or the school district, and you should ask somebody in authority there why that policy was adopted.
